starting issue
greetings from sunny southern california....my impeccably maintained 2000 coupe is cranking for up to ten seconds before finally firing up.....no other issues and no codes.....whats happening ??? thanks in advance..... new york nick

I would think you should check and see if you have the correct fuel system pressure at the fuel rail when trying to start. If you do I would then check compression in the cylinders.

I agree. Fuel pressure... might also check for un-metered air getting past the MAF such as the air-bridge is slightly disconnected. Also look at the PCV valve connection tube to the intake on the passenger side of the engine. Make sure that tube doesn't have a hole(s) in it.
