I'm not sure if it's just me having issues but every time I try to look for some new wheels and tires everything is either miss matched, to narrow, or god awful ugly.
The diameter I have now are 19 all around, I like the size, however the offset messes with my TCS, not to mention I'm not too fancy about the style. (bought them with car). I want some nice black rims, but it seems wherever I look the rims that catch my eye are 1k a piece...
Then there's the tires, nobody makes a 35 sidewall with a 19 at 305/295. Well, nobody makes a matching 30 35 set that is. So am I going to have to mismatch my tires to get around the 19 / 19 set up? Most 18 rims I've seen are too narrow, like 8.5 at a max. I feel like I'd be sacrificing some handling at this width.
I could just go back to stock and lower the suspension, but I already have problems bottoming out as it is. Has anybody had this same issue? And what did you ultimately decide on?
You don't mention what size tires you're using, front and back. More than likely it's the tire diameters causing your TCS problems, not the offset of the wheels.
As far as 18" width wheels goes, you can get them in most popular widths. Stock rear 18" wheels are 9.5" (coupe, vert) while the rear Z06 wheels are 10.5". There's no reason you can't run four rear sized wheels, as long as your tire diameters are at least .4" larger in the back.

Thanks in advance
a 305/30/19 looks good on a 19x10 rim out back along with a 275/30/19 out front. like the other member said as long as your .4" bigger out back you'll be fine. and yes bf goodrich makes a 295/35/19. just so you know the middle number is just a ratio or a multiplier based on the width of the tire to give the height. for instance a 345/30/19 has a taller sidewall then a 295/35/19

Follow my guide on tire size selection. It should make things very clear.
Thanks, Toque this really helps a lot. My biggest problems have been trying to match the tires I had to buy recently. Had a flat and had to replace to something else, and unfortunately the 10.5 tire width and side wall size has been hard to come by with the Toyo's put on the RIM. I didn't want to buy 4 new tires, but with the .4" offset GM put in I can't use them without going an inch shorter. Hence the whole RIM diameter issue. Still need to find a better package but at least I can get the numbers right now.
