Saw this on a google image search I did and was wondering if anyone else has ever seen it. Im pretty sure the rims are CCW 505a's. But no idea on the size or the suspension. Anyone know what he has on his side view mirrors??
It looks like the side view mirrors have the stretch fabric cover protectors on. Also avail. for the front end from different vendors. Can't tell you much about the wheels but I'm sure someone else will.

Are the mirror covers used just when you park your car? Or are they designed to still be able to see the mirror and be used while driving?
They're used while driving to prevent bugs and scratches but they can be stolen easily since they apply with velcro. You can take them off when you park to be safe.
I stand corrected. Anyone run those covers on their car? I think it's a pretty good idea. Never saw them till I saw this pic
If you're thinking of protecting the paint, get some of the clear paint protecting material put on (there's various threads discussing the plusses and minuses of various brands), that way you don't have to worry about something that's been velcro'd on getting stolen or yanked off.

i slip them on in the garage due to tight quarters. it seems if it sticks out you're gonna scrape it sooner or later. beats folding and unfolding the mirrors all the time.

I think you'll find that the sideview mirrors take just as much if not more pounding tham the front of the car. At least that has been my experience. Until I went with the "clear bra" type of product I used the protectors on the sideview mirrors on long trips.,
