Rattling Hatch
When I go over humps in the road my hatch rattles,Its pushed all the way down,I've tried to adjust the rubber stoppers on the corners but still rattles (do I need new hatch shocks?)........! Bugs the hell out of me

Are you sure it's the hatch,and not a upper shock mount bolt?
If an upper shock bolt is loose,it sounds like it's coming from inside the car,right under the hatch shock,and it's pretty loud.
If both latches are tight,the only other thing (I can think of) that would let the hatch itself rattle is a loose hinge...
Probably not much help here,because I'm just guessing-I've fixed quite a few rattles in the Vette,but the hatch hasn't been one of them.
