I came home for Christmas from Afghanistan and drove my vert every chance I got. Well my dad needed both his chain saws taken into town to have them fixed. Should I throw them in the back of my Chevy Avalanche and drive 30 miles one way or put a trash bag in the trunk, wrap a towel around both saws, drop the top, put on sun gasses, crank up some tunes (ZZ-Top) and grin from ear to ear while getting better gas mileage? I chose taking the Vette. Was I wrong?
I must admit to hauling my welding tanks 50 mile's round trip 10 years ago in my long gone 80 Corvette.. I thought about it for about as long as it took to spread a few beach towels inside and off to town I went! Never regretted it a bit. I use every excuse I can to drive my Corvette!
Might I add, this included 2 miles of gravel road back at my ranch!
go for it i've done cruises with 2 fishing poles, a tackle box and a duffle bag with clothes without issue in the car. I know a guy that put his mountain bike in the back of his C5Z. He had quick disconnect's on his front wheel and took it off and got it all in the back. Worked out great for him

Nope!!!!!! I even put my 3 dogs in the vette. They are small dogs and non shedding. They love the vette, they lay in the rear hatch area with their head on the raise edge in the hatch area watching where we are going.

BTW I also allow the wife in the vette
As long as I am sure it can be done without hurting my vette, I'll use it whenever I can!
