the only thing that bugs me about the double din setup, which mind you I am doing next winter, is how dated it makes the temp controls look. I wish someone would come out with a way to flatten the buttons and make the face plate a little more modern, it doesn't match any of the radio setups except for the oem one.

I have been trying to come up with some kind of idea for this for along time now. I have a new idea I will be trying shortly on a spare bezel I have. Lets how it turns out to what I have in mind I just need to find some time to mess with it
How hard was the install I'm looking to purchase from him soon.
Not very difficult. I had already wired the switched power and antenna for my Sirius receiver so all I had to do was remove the old radio support plate, install GPS antenna and hook up. Alingment of the radio to fit the new benzel took a few tries but not hard. Take your time and double check everything.

Yup, all these aftermarket units are copying the Ford Sync concept...soon all the OEMs will be offering their own versions of the same concept because it supports safe driving.
