Default Catching Up

Ok, since my 2nd heart attack in Nov. I haven`t really given the Corvette world much attention. Short term depression I guess. Well, I finally got my Harley back on the road and I`ve been driving my 2000 FRC so things seem to be close to normal.

Now, I had cancelled my order for the 2002 Z06 but I`m on the list for a 2003. Anything new on the `03?

Should I even bother since I consider my 2000 as fairly rare and it`s pretty low mileage. The trade in values seem pretty bad so I was thinking of just extending the warrantee and keeping it.

I guess I`m looking for facts on one hand and opinion on the other. I know those who own Z`s think they`re the best thing since sliced bread and if I was buying without a trade, I wouldn`t hesitate.

Thanks

Dino: depends on what you want. You can certainly throw less money at your existing 00 and make it handle/run with a Z. But, at the end of the day, it's still not a Z. With what you have been through lately, I think you should have EXACTLY what you want. I've stopped trying to justify my car decisions because they seldom make sense from a practical or financial standpoint. That said, the Z is the most exciting car I have ever owned, as purchased, prior to any mods. I absolutely love this car and look for reasons to drive it (I'm sure that my daily driver is wondering what is going on).
As far as 03 changes. I understand they are minimal.
