Apears that someone cut out the H crossover and installed the X. Probably a good change and yes you can keep it, should work fine.
I can honestly say that most threads I read concerning someone and a recently purchased (used) corvette, there is always some cool stuff the new owner finds. In my 01 Convertible, I found a Hypertech programmer with manual in the back and didn't even know it had a 12 disc changer too. I'm waiting for someone to find a winning lotto ticket or Pam Anderson's underwear from her Bay Watch days.

Good find! I wonder if the previous owner even knew the programmer was back there! I just hope the midpipe I have now will bolt up to a set of LT's. Guess I won't know till I disassemble...
I did the exact same thing to my car. Bought an after market x pipe and replaced the h pipe. The stock H pipe only has a hole the size of a dime in each pipe. While there I did the bypass mod on the stock muffler. Made a nice difference in sound.

It definately sounds loud and aggressive, but I also have B&B Bullets cat back.. im just wondering if LT's with 3" collectors will bolt onto my midpipe.
