Default Ti Exhaust Question

On a single Ti muffler, are both of the muffler exits/tips functional?
I am thinking of adapting a Z06 muffler to my Acura NSX.
Also, is that a 2.5 inc inlet that I see in pics of this muffler?
Thanks

Yes both are functional. it is 2.5" piping over the axles but if you look clsoe in the pic it does bottle neck down to about 2.25" going into the muffler itself. Alot of guys making 6-700 hp on stock Ti's so apperently its not a large restriction.
Here is what the inside looks like:

Never saw the inside of one before. Is that glass packing around the two exit pipes? Over the years running all of the track events my exhaust got quite loud and I wonder if the stuff that looks like glass packing just degraded with all of the heat and flow. I know it was hot because the exhaust tips were blue.

Interesting, added a bypass for a little more growl? Did you do it on both sides?

That's a common bypass mod done to the ti exhausts....both sides are typically done, yes. 1.5" pipe.

Mmmm Modded Ti's sound the best. Not to mention the Ti's flow extremely well (one of the only cars ive ever owned to which the stock catback suffices)
