Good pic.s I love em. I've always been a fan of a non power brake burn out. A first gear launch then a quick second with the hammer down starting with just a wisp of smoke then as the revlimiter starts it rhythmic objections, the tires boil and as the car torques sideways third gear is slammed. Third gear keeps em boiling for another 75 ft then the road speed catches up with the tire speed and calms down the smoke while the driver keeps the wayward car on the road. One of the best spectator events in owning a vette because you can say "Yep that was a good one, my vette will do the same thing." Then you can smirk knowing you saved yourself $75 worth of rubber.
Keep em coming guys.

Saw a guy do that with his '70 Chalenger at a local show. This car was near perfect and ended up having to get a tow truck to take him home. Thing I didn't get was all the people watching him do a burnout with smoke coming from the middle of the car with no tires spinning and no one said anything or tried to stop him. He was into it though, he was waving his arms up trying to get the crowd cheering.

Here is a short video my brother took while we were in Kentucky. It may have been in front of the Museum.

Corvettes look good standing still but these pics show what they are made for. They look good making things happen and smoke off the tires say just that. Thanks guys.
