LS6 intake
I was reading that the 01-04 LS1 engines came stock with a LS6 intake. Is this the same LS6 intake as on the Z06 car. I found a wrecked 04 base coupe local and was told I can get the intake for a hundred so if its the same LS6 intake that will be an upgrade for my 00 LS1 I think thats a good deal. I know I can look at it visually and tell the difference but I dont want to drive an hour to find out it is the wrong one. I would rather know for sure before I go.

I hope its good to go, junk yard here in FL. I asked for an 01-04 LS1 intake off of a corvette and he says he has one if I come take it off. Chances are if I asked for a LS6 intake the price would have tripled at least. Too bad I have to wait until next sat to go take a look.

I went today to look at it. The guy swore the car was an 04 but the part number on the intake was the same as the one on my 00. 12556333. I didnt even bother taking it off to look underneath it.
