i have bassani exhaust on mine,to me...there is no better sounding exhaust. it is a cross between that deep muscle car borla tone and the raspyness of the corsa exhaust. put hearders on and it sound awesome....

Which system? Everything I've seen from Bassani is 2.5"

I'm not impresed with SW's system. It sounds bland.
Has anyone else realized just how few options are out there for the guys with 3" X-pipes? At the same time, very few vendors and even exhaust manufacturers list what diameter the tubing is on their catbacks! Sure makes research difficult...
I thought my SW sounded very good with my blower and catless setup, much deeper and louder than my Corsa's, if you want a loud system have some custom ones made, I have a buddy had some made from his B&B PRTs so get the tips and his was to loud for this old guy

Loved the sound in town on the open road just to much for me also. Guess I am no the wife says past getting old.She says in my third child hood. Cant wait to get the C6 Z06 rear cradle and all that under the car.
I run LG's Big 3 catback on my 427 w/ 1 7/8 ARH Lt's and cats.
It took some work to get it to clear the trans brace. It has some drone but is easily managed with a manual. I doubt this would be a good choice if you have an auto.
My configuration is very near WKMCD, I installed it originally with my H/C 346....not nice fit wise. My new weee 416 with a Trans Brace resulted in a few swear Emails from the installer.
Power gains are worth the pain, the attention & suffering to this type of detail is the difference between average & exceptional!
I find the Big 3 very reasonable in terms of noise & drone, it's what you want it to be when driving.

We had to do similar modding on the right side as I also had the DTE brace with the SW and the LGs look so similar to the SW in design and layout
What are all these LG Pro guys doing with their catbacks considering there's so few options? Do the Pro/Super-Pro headers come with a 2.5" adapter or 3x2.5" X-pipe to mate to all the stock diameter cat-backs?

Here is what I did with my AR x-pipe, it was 2.5", I had that part cut off as it just tapers from 3" prior to the end of the pipe and redone in 3" and all was ok
I've ordered the SW 3" system, the reason is the LG system has been a problem from the beginning staying in place. The wall thickness is very thin & even though many different styles of clamps have been tried the left side always re position itself. Welding was not an option in case of future removal. I originally installed the system myself, PIA, the car is now at well respected shop & he is frustrated with the exhaust so I decided to replace it.
If you are interested I can report back with noise level, sound & fit.
Thanks for your thoughts. The idea of selling the LG system in pieces didn't give me the best of hopes for a leak-free, well-sealed and perfect alignment type of set-up before, but reading around and seeing your post really brings it to life.
For now, I'm planning on just sticking with LG street headers and mating to a set of GHL bullets.
Unless the LG Super Pro Headers come with an optional 3" x 2.5" x-pipe....??? Anyone know?
Be sure you know what you are getting. I thought about getting an LG, but LG's CSR warned me that their 3"er put up quite a drone around 70 mph (in my A4). So if you want to drive quietly at high speed on the interstate, you might not be too happy.
Of course, if you are the windows-down type, who cares?
As far as the 3" what I could not see from your photo's is if you have a Trans Brace or not. Important to me & maybe other's that consider 3" rear exhaust. As they say ....just saying.
