Default drag pack question

alright guys..im most likely picking up a set of new rims..(c6z06 deepdish replicas)..and im thinking i could use my stock z06 rims to mount drag radials on for a drag pack..i already have gto spares with m/hs...now would it be a better idea to mount drag radials on the 18s or the 17s?? i remember reading something about people using the 17s because of weight..

Less weight and more side wall on the 17's. 17's will hook better. Go with M/T's or Hoosier's with pressure around 17-18#'s. Save $ for broken parts.

17's are cheaper, and have more sidewall. I have been using a 275/40/17 for years running 9's with consistent 1.5 60'times, with an A4.

Mickey ET street drag radials on 17's...With more sidewall than an 18" wheel you get more sidewall flex which will also help you from breaking things
