What goes around comes around
Have been trying to get some of my property back from Chris at Carskinz for many months. One excuse and lie after another and am have reached the point that I am going to go after him.
In September I purchased a steering wheel and airbag from another forum member and had them shipped to Chris so he could redo the steering wheel. He promised I would have back in two or three weeks well I finally did get the steering wheel back in January but still have not received the airbag. Excuse after excuse but no delivery.
Am getting ready to file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General and if anyone else has been taken by this character please email me at: quagliaroli@aol.com and I will include you in complaint.
I don't ever take action like this but have just given up trying to be reasonable and am now going to do whatever I can do to produce a pay back.
I have dealt with many of the forum vendors and have not had a problem. I now realize why CARSKINZ is no longer an authorized Corvette Forum Vendor.
I have heard from several other members about how he is taking advantage of them and feel it is well overdue to recognize him for what he really is.

Good luck, I hate hearing stuff like this but, when I do, it makes my blood boil. I understand, business is business but, I believe anyone involved in this sport or hobby should be held to a higher standard of ethics when dealing with ethusasist, especially if they are vendor on this site.

He was paid 100% up front and it just doesn't matter. Most feel if they speak out they will never get their product. At this point I don't care and am only interested in holding Chris at CARSKINZ accountable.

I was going through this exact same hassle with him this time last year. Several months of constant badgering and finally threatening legal action got me my stuff back. He did finally complete everything I paid for except the steering wheel recovering which I sent to VE and they had that back to me in two weeks. Chris did refund me the money for the steering wheel recovering though. What a nightmare that was. He was still a forum vendor in good standing back then which is why I said nothing about it. I did warn several members here that posted they were going to do business with him.

Only good thing that has come from the combo of Doug and Carskinz is it has allowed Doug and I to become friends. 
As you well know Doug, I am in the same situation as you are waiting on product for a customer that he has full payment for. Hopefully we both will get our stuff soon

As I have advised others, if you believe you have been defrauded, the criminal complaint may be more effective.
Not sure what went wrong with Chris. He did very good work, but became increasingly difficult to communicate with and then just seemed to drop out altogether, leaving quite a few customers in the lurch.

Too bad.......it always amazes me when you hear these stories about a once well thought of individual/vendor that flips.

On top of my list was to call him out where ever I can find that he advertises and receives income from. At one point he did receive allot of work by being a vendor here and I wanted to make sure that all the members knew exactly what they would be dealing with by using CARSKINZ.
Again, he is not truthful and will always try and place the blame on someone else. He will not even answer or return a phone call from me. I have had a friend in Florida call him and he answered right away, said it was in the mail - turns out it wasn't. Dennis at doubled mods has contacted him on my behalf and now he is in the same situation. THIS GUY HAS SERIOUS (..) PROBLEMS and is completely lacking in integrity.
As I continue to pursue justice I will post what is taking place.
