Default 98 corvette
wheel bearing ??noise only 57k been sitting 2years, car was smooth when parked , now about 2 years later it has a real hum noise sounds like a wheel bearing......is this common.....or maybe something else?????thanks vince no codes at all, everything else seems great??????????????????????

no not at all , everything else is good, the humming noise sounds like a bad wheel bearing , didn't know if any one else has had this problem????

How about any leaks on the spot where it sat for two years? How about putting it up on a lift and checking the Transmission and differential ? and I'd check to see if anything is loose with the rear hubs and axles ?

no leaks , all fluids good , axles feel tight , going to pull wheel tomorrow , just seeing if any body else has had this problem

Sitting and not moving for 2 years isn't great for wheel bearings. Could be a bearing.

the tires are probably flat spotted.

the rotors and brake pads and calipers should be looked at.
