Ranger Clutch method ROCKS ! ! !

So over the years I have been keeping my clutch reservoir clean using the Ranger method (and Pennzoil DOT4). Every 4-6 weeks I suck out the fluid, and wipe around the reservoir and top off the fluid.... I have never had my clutch stick to the floor. My fluid has ALWAYS been clear as a bell doing this.
Last summer I started to notice that my clutch would feel REALLY mushy after a "HARD" acceleration from 1-2-3-4... It would just feel very weird. After some pumps it would feel ok again. Its something I had not felt before for sure. I constantly checked my clutch fluid and it was clear as a bell. After speaking with Ranger on a post he said that even if its clear fluid in my reservoir its possible I could get moisture in there and not see it. Maybe my occasional opening of the cap let in moisture over the years... ? Maybe my bottles of DOT 4 got moisture into them sitting on my shelf for months on end ?
Anyways.... a few weeks ago I got 4 new bottles of Pennzoil DOT 4.
I emptied, cleaned, and topped off the reservoir, then pumped my clutch 30 times. Each time I empty, clean and fill I pump the clutch 30 times. I did this 7 times using up the entire little bottle. My foot hurt after 210 clutch pumps... I got a few charlie horses and rolled around on the garage floor a few times.

I went for a drive and noticed the clutch pedal issue was reduced.
After that drive I did the above sequence again using up the 2nd bottle of clutch fluid...
I went for a drive and the issue felt practically gone.
After that drive I did the sequence again on the 3rd bottle, and issue is GONE !
I think that I had moisture in my clutch fluid as Ranger suspected. I will not be leaving bottles of clutch fluid laying around anymore. I will use up the entire bottle every time I do this from now on...

Hope this helps someone with the same issue !

This is what I use for Clutch Fluid (get it at Walmart)... I don't think you want to put oil in there or you will REALLY have issues...
