Went out to the little garage and started up the 02 coupe after three weeks of not even seeing it. Sat in the seat listening to the engine and radio for about 20 minutes and then shifted it into drive and reverse a few times to get the juices flowing. Pulled it forward and backward a few times to move the tires. A few more weeks and I might be gettin it out on the road. Yesterday was in the fifties and I saw some C5s out after not seeing any in months. The C5 season is almost upon us
Very nice, indeed i cant wait to be able to back out of my driveway still have at least 8-10" of the white stuff on the ground, yea i will be starting her up this weekened
I'm amazed the bodies don't get stress cracks when these cars are driven in very freezing temps, like 0 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, well at lease mine don't - when I take her out once every 2 or 3 weeks during winter ... to keep her juices flowing ... and mine too

Temps are warming up this week - should hit 70 by Thursday and hopefully by the end of the weekend all the snow will be melted off. Then if the streets dry up, I plan to get mine out after 3 months in storage.

Well they have had 50 years of experience with fiberglass/composite body construction!! If that was a problem,,the vette would not have lasted long!! I've had mine out in single digit temperatures,,and it wasn't doing as much creaking as I was that morning!! Mine only sits out the active snow/ice on the roads!!We got our January thaw a little late,,this past weekend!!It's going to hold for a while too!! Going to play some golf Thursday!!We've had a LOT of crappy weather this winter,,and can't wait for Thursday!!Taking the vette!!!

Didn't drive mine today but washed her a couple of days ago. So tonight I put another coat of Zanio on her!
Out quoting bids tomorrow,,,,gonna take the Vette,,,and park it down the street from the bid places. People still think an 11 year old Chevy means your bid is to high!

A friend who owns a Shelby Cobra replica now, use to drive his '63 split window in the snow back east back in the late 60's early 70's. These things were meant to be driven.
I know of two people in town that drive their Vette year round in any kind of weather every day. I have to admire them and their Vette still looks good. I know I should just drive it and not worry about it just wash it and wax it and daily drive it but to me it is more like if I had a Harley, it would just be for summer time good weather days.
