I am wondering what everyone thinks on this, I think it is a good deal. 2003 Zo6 Red with Red insert/black interior. less than 30k miles, Bone stock and almost mint for $21900, no less. It is local. I think this is a great deal but I really like the 2008 ls3 C6. The looks of the c6 with the same or better power in the LS3, along with a much more refined interior will cost me a solid $10,000 more. BUT the C7 is supposed to be released in 2012 which I would assume will drop C6 prices to some extent, and the C5 Z has already depreciated most of the way where the C6 will drop heavely over the next few years.
I guess I want to see what you think about the Price of the C5 Z, and whether or not you think 10k more is worth it for a few refinements. I am thinking get the C5 and drive it a few years, then look to maybe pickup a used C7, assuming some of the C7 pics are even close its gonna be badass. And the c5 price seems low enough to be able to hold it a few years and sell it for a small loss. THANKS for any INPUT!
Sounds like a good deal to me. Take a look in the C5 for sale section for comps. There is an 02 with 50K asking $21500, and an 02 with 11K asking $28000.
imavettegirl thinks every price is high. But after looking at a lot of them, I concluded that a premium car draws a premium price. If you want to pay less, you're gonna have to settle for a little less, True garage queens don't go for $17K, but imperfect cars with a few issues often do.
That's my .02, and speaking as the owner of a nearly immaculate car, I think my opinion has merit.
i just got my 03 z06 with 27,000 miles on her for 23,000 out the door...i dont expect to be perfect and it has it flaws here and there..but those can be worked out as i get used to her..for a c5z with under 30k i would say you can expect to pay anywhere over 20,000 for one.
I bought an 03 Z mid January, that I would say is in excellent condition, and had 25000 miles on it for 23k. I've been all smiles since and certainly have no regrets paying that for it.
