Default Engine Dress up Complete

I received the final parts that I have wanted to complete my engine dress up. Plus the A-pillars and the front license screen. All of the Carbon Fiber and the few Hydro Carbon pieces came from American Hydro Carbons with the one exception of the CF Air Bridge. I just want to thank Pat @ AHC for all of these great pieces. Top notch in customer service as well as the products he handles.

Engine Cowl and Wiper Arms

Overall Engine Bay

Nose Trim

A-Pillars

Front License Screen Air Intake

Not sure on this piece may change it out to the black. Need to sleep on it for a few days. Or maybe just paint iy Torch Red.

looks great! Pat did the same for me and I'm just waiting to save a couple of bucks for the A-Pillar. (Was it difficult to install?)

Great work by Pat and your bay looks very cool.

However the hydrocarbon blends in pretty well with the real carbon.

Is the engine bay nose trim real carbon or hydrocarbon? I know the fender covers and battery cover is real carbon fiber and those look awesome!

No the A-Pillars are not that hard, just take your time. You need to remove the weather stripping that runs up the A-Pillar. There are two push pins at the bottom of the WS. One you can see the other is inside the WS. After you pop out the first one all you need to do is get your fingers in between the WS and the pillar and pull. It should pull right out. Next you will need a Phillips and a 5 point stair not sure what size it was, but it is real small. There are 4 or 5 regular Phillips screw and 4 or 5 of the star screws on each side you will only see one of the star screws and that is the one in the front the others are covered. Once the weather stripping is out, you will see the regular Phillips screws (well maybe one will be covered were the weather stripping is glued at the bottom of the post. The other star screws are cover under the bracket that holds the WS, but there are holes in the bracket, but there is a piece of that sticky foam matting in between the bracket and pillar, so you will need to remove the bracket if you cannot find the screws.
Pat told me the first one would take about 45 minutes and the second one 10 minutes. He was right on the first one, but it took me almost as long on the second one, but that was just me, as I kept dropping screws and of course they went under the car or under the seat.

Yes, the only hydro carbon pieces that I got from pat are the radiator shroud, cowl and A-pillars. As you stated the battery cover and fender covers also the intake cover, Air Bridge, power steering res. brake and bosster cover, Alt cover and the belt tension cover.

I'll try and get a few more tomorrow. The fit is excellent and it did not take much more than a half hour to remove the wiper arms and stock cowl and then install the new cowl and wiper arms.
I got it from American Hydro Carbons. Pat had a special on it a few weeks ago. Here is a link to his site http://www.shop.carboncorvette.com/main.sc give him a call or send an e-mail. I don't recall the exact price because I also order some additional items.
