Has anyone on the forum ever heard of or used Ethos Refomulator in any of your cars? I can't tell you much about it except I have been using it for 2 years now. Before we went to junk gas I would get about 20-21 gpm in town and up to 26 on hyway. Not the same anymore. I'm getting 18 ton 22-23 hyway. This is in my 05 4 runner. One thing I know for sure is it runs real clean.Ican put my finger in the tail pipe and it comes out clean.Use one OZ.per ten gal.Just curious.Iwill start using it in the vette pretty soon. There is information on the internet about it.

Whats a gpm?...anyway, the only thing I have ever used in my Vettes is Chevron Techron or BG 44K...why do you use junk gas? I use Chevron(not any more since they pulled out of Virginia) or Amaco/BP and sometimes Exxon...but maybe the junk gas is your problem?

Never heard of the product you mention - the only additive I have used is Techron so my fuel sensors stay working properly.

I know that the government is allowing for more ethanol (corn) to be added to fuels and it is being fought by some auto groups because it leaves deposits and gunk in the engine. I have heard of additives to combat the gunk deposits but it is $7.00 for one bottle that treats one tank of gas. Expensive to use every fill up. No one really knows what long term effect it will have on our engines. I use Shell hi-test.

I'm in the "only Techron" group as well. A little more information on what you call "junk gas" would help. What brands do you have access to/use,,are you just referring to the common 10% ethanol blend almost everyone has to run now? Can you get 93 or are you stuck with 91 octane? Most fuel additives are not worth the money,,so unless you literally have money to burn..I'd just try to find places that sell gas that is rated "Top Tier" ,you can google that. Off hand,,I know Shell,Quick Trip, and most top brand names are rated!! I'd say do this,,and throw an occasional bottle of Techron in and you'll be good to go!!

I have used BK44 in the past. I would recommend only running Chevron or Texaco.

If you must use an additive, pick up some Techron.

Yesterday, I had a situation where my gas gauge showed less than half a tank and dropped suddenly to E. I filled the tank and it only held 12+ gallons. After I got home, I read some of the past posts on "right tanks/left tank" issues. Is this my problem and would Techron help with this or is it as I fear, more involved? Does anyone know the capacities of the "tanks"? I have had this 01 C5 for about 3 months.

a bottle of techron helps solve this temporarily but it does help. do it every 90 days and youll have no issues.
