HID relay harness questions
I just installed a set of low beam HID's for a customer on a C5 and used a relay harness, he's wanting me to install a set of high beam HID's now. My question is will I need to run another relay harness for the high beams? I never had any issues on low or high beam HID's on my old C5 and never used a relay harness but I ran into some problems with his car and the harness was a must. Thanks!

I would install the second harness since you mention that his car had problems when not using a harness on the low beams.
But HIDs in the high beams are no a great idea as HIDs need to warm up before reaching full brightness and since high beams are usually clicked on and off in short bursts the HIDs may not give him the light he needs right away. I used HIR halogen bulbs in my highs rather than HIDs.

while they do need to spool up, the high beams are usual up to full on within about 3 seconds (at least that is the experience with mine which are radioflyer models). and in my opinion it is worth having them for the amazing amount of light they throw off.

Don't bother with the HID highlow beam kit. All it is, is a relay that changes the aim of the bulb...also you can tell your customer that if he has HID head lights and fogs the high beams will be a necessity .

So do you think I'd be fine just hooking up the high beam HID's with no relay?? I had the low and high beam HID's in my 2000 C5 with NO harness and never had any issues.
