OK, its sunny and 80 here in SC today. I am going to start getting the cars ready for the summer show season. For the past 4 years I have used Zaino products but may be ready for a change.
What products do you use and what procedure do you use?
I have used nothing but Adam's for the entire time I have had my '01 (almost 5 years). He has a great web site with videos and all of his products are easy on easy off and you don't have to do multiple steps. It actually is 4 steps at the most if you are doing a complete fresh detail. Clay bar, Swirl & Haze Remover, polish and finally wax.
I forgot one important point with Adams, the 110% guarantee.

I started using Turtle Wax's "Ice" and I'm really surprised. It looked great the first time I used it and it gets better with each coat. Dosen't matter what you use it on, It goes on clear and just shows a light haze in a few moments later and it comes off with microfiber towel or two. Great shine and it's durable as well. I used on my DD and it held up great all through the winder sitting out in the weather. Turtle Wax, "Ice" Good stuff !
But if you like to spend 6 hours waxing your Vette, this isn't for you -Coating the Vette takes about an hour, and lasts a minimum of 3 months with daily "exposure to the elements"
The shine is incredible.
Once per year I use Dawn dish detergent to remove any previous wax or grime instead of normal car wash.
Then clay bar
Wash again with car wash soap
Dry
Wax on, wax off.
(tip) -with carnuba, after you buff it off, "mist" an area with a spray bottle of distilled/drinking water and buff it some more with your microfiber towel. It looks stunning with probably the best protection out there compared to the high gloss polishes that still need a sealant.
My '01z was made in September 2000 and it still looks new.
Wax twice per year.... Strip and claybar once per year.

One more vote for Adam's! I admit to being "slightly" biased, as I am an Adam's dealer, but they have a complete line of products - easy and fun to use....and the results are GREAT!
The new FLEX buffer is amazing - used with the right polishes and pads will give spectacular results!
