Tires - widest?

What are the widest tires can I put on stock C5 (2000) wheels?

Front?

Back?

i believe a 305 but i have also heard 295 and up to 325 depending on the tire brand

On the stock 18x9.5 I woud not go any wider than 285. You can run a 295 but its not recommended.

tire size

Tire Rack, under "specs", there is a column just for the rim size needed for each size tire they sale. Changes some with different brands.

Call John At CCW and he will tell you. I have 10's on the front and 11.5 's on the rear without them sticking out. Complete custom wheels are made to fit. My front tires are 275x30R19's and rear are 305x30R19's. Fit like a glove and look great!

I think he was asking about stock wheels. I too have CCWs but I have 275/40 front tires and 315/35 rears...
