Wish that was me. I got stuck working all weekend But I did get to take the car for a spin Saturday night
These rotors and pads are they the D/S from Adam? Ordered mine one Thursday. I'm hopping to get a little dirty next weekend.

They are the ones offered from TPS. Drilled and dimpled for 239 shipped.

I started my vette to move to the other side of garage to put on jack stands for brakes/rotors and C6 Z06 shocks change...only to find the oil pressure sensor pegged out. Changed oil sensor first then new brake pads and drilled/slotted rotors from Adam. New C6 Z06 shocks from Gene Culley. Working on the vette ( my silver haired girlfriend...as my wife calls her )......another day in paradise!
Accomplished all without any problems or "expanding my vocabulary" or using bad words from the past.

Sounds like fun! In 3 weeks, I get off work for a week. I'll be doing engine/rad/brake/clutch/tranny/rearend fluids, serpentine belt, brake pads, front brake cooling ducts, radiator screen, fangs, ATI TracMem, and HID highs for my DEPO's. I love working on this car. And, upgrades/maintenance are always more enjoyable then repairs

These sway bars are killing me. If you had read my last post concerning the bushings. I bought the C6Z51 deal and they were delivered without the bushings. I needed them overnight. I talked to Gene and was told that it was impossible that it happened so rather than bothering with someone that didnt believe me I paid 30 bucks to get a set to me by today from another company. They sent me a 32mm bushing for the front and a 27mm for the rear. They seem to be way too big. Should the edges of the bushing touch when they are slid over the bar or should there be a gap? The new poly bushings I was sent have the edges of the slit touching when put over the bar. The rubber ones are on the old bar have a gap. So now my choices are put the old sway bar back on with the old rubber bushings or try the new sway bars with the bushings that may be the wrong size.

I'd say that you got the wrong bushings...I would not use them.

I dont see why bushing sizing is made to be so hard. I told them C6Z51 bars. I get 4 bushings that were what I think to be too big. I asked the question once here about what is the right size bushings and was told to measure them You would think that all C6Z51 bars would require the same size bushing and that someone who already had a set would be able to tell me what is the correct size but I guess not.

I ended up just ordering a set from Gene that will hopefully work. I was supposed to get them with the sway bars but UPS had other things to say about that. I guess I have to put the old bars back on for now.
great.

Oh good god these B&B bullets sound awesome. Deep throaty rumble at idle. Its a little loud in the cabin in the upper rpms but very nice at cruise rpms. I worked for about an hour trying to get them to stop wiggling. Tips are even, clamps are tight and bolts connecting them to the stock pipes are tight but they still wiggle. It's like the metal tab that slides in the oem rubber grommet needs a wedge or something to tighten them up. Did I miss something during install?
So far though even though I didnt get to install my C6Z51 sway bars due to bushing SNAFU's I got all of this accomplished

NGK TR55 plugs
MSD Wires
AFE Pro Dry intake
new tensioner, idler pulley and belt
tsp brake rotors and pads.
B&B bullet exhaust
coolant change
oil change
brake fluid flush
clutch via ranger
PCM reinstalled after ECS retuned it
short throw shifter
new fuel filter
tranny fluid change
differential fluid flush

so overall, been a busy weekend.
New correct bushings on their way, I will probably wait until I can get the shock upgrade before I get it up in the air again. I have the repair kit to fix my seats from rocking but I just ran out of steam before I could get to them.
Now its time next weekend to start putting the hydroboost in the C3.
