DynoTech Engineering (DTE) - A Long Term Customer Report
I read in another thread that Phil and Jenny Ricard sold DTE to another business. It was kind of a bummer to hear that but I'm sure they're moving into something bigger and better.
Back in 2005, I opted for DTE's LS1 performance upgrade package along with the Dynamax Supermax headers/ exhaust system to compliment my Borla Stingers. DTE also lowered the car and realigned it to Z06 specs.
I have been extremely happy with the car ever since I picked it up from DTE. It's an absolute blast to drive and the sound makes all of my car buddies envious. Drivability is superb, fuel mileage was only marginally affected (1 MPG highway), and reliability has been high - Just as Phil promised...
I just wanted to give credit where credit is due.
P.S. For those of you on the fence about modifying your Vette, I say DO IT! If you have the mods done by a reputable shop, you'll never regret it. Life's too short to drive a stock Vette...
