Default Corsa Titanium Exhaust

Hi everyone,
I'm about to take delivery of a Yellow Z06 any day now (the wait is killing me!!), and I'm considering swapping in a new exhaust and I'm condering the street version of the Corsa Titanium system. Does anyone have this system installed on their Z06? If so would you post some pictures? Also, how is the sound compared to the stock sound or compared to the Corsa Indy's (a buddy of mine has this system so I can hear what it sounds like)? I like the fact that these pipes are lighter than stock, flow better than stock, and have a life time warranty. All comments appreciated!!

thanks,
Mike

Maybe you should wait and hear the stock exhaust of the z06. I was going to get the corsa indy but after hearing how nice the stock exhausted sounded, I decided to stay with the stock system. Believe me, even with the stock exhaust, people will KNOW you are coming their way.

True! Though I've drive two different 2001's and didn't like the sound too much. I've heard that the 2002 sounds different, and if I like the sound I'll stick with it and spend the $ on wheels or something... :-)

Mike,
I have the Corsa Titanium Race System with the Quad tips. It is much louder than the stock system and has some resonance inside the car at higher RPM.If you are cruising at 1500 -2000 RPM is not bad
I don't have any pics of the system except a rear shot of the tips. If you want that picture I can e-mail you. I like the system except for all the clamps Corsa has used. . Before you put it on I would recomend riding in a Vette that has it. If you are going to the C5 Birthday Bash I will be there. EB Z06 with Virginia Tags Z OH 6

Great, thanks for the info. Anyone have the system with the mufflers installed (another $500). I'm wondering if that quiets things down significantly and cuts down on the resonance.
thanks!

A friend of mine (Bob Hardt, NCM Ambassador for the C5 Registry) has the system. He initially got just the race system and really liked it, but his wife did not like the sound on long trips so he put the additional canisters on. I have not heard the system but will see him this week at the C5 bash and can compare mine vs. his. If you want his e-mail, I can give it to you privately.

I am about to order the same comp system for my 99 convert. And am concerned with the resonance. You said its OK in the 1.5 to 2K range which is where my 6sp is on the highway. What rpm is the worst? IYO is this a reasonable choice for the street?
Thanks
