Interesting Targa Top Idea ?
Have an extra targa top that came with my Vette. I have to get it re-painted, but was wondering if anybody has done anything interesting with their targas ?
Any mods or designs ?

I can't help you with great ideas other than getting it painted a cool contrasting colored, Like having a magnetic red Corvette with a different color of red to show off the car. I'm showing my age, but back in the sixties, almost every car had a vinyl top is a contrasting color. But even before that, a great color was having a green 55 Chevt coupe with a tan or white top or top & sloping white along the sides.
To be honest, I've never had the top off of my 2003, and only once on my C4. Like I say, I'm a guy who likes either a coupe, or a convertible, but not halfway. I just don't like a targa top. Mine has never had a single leak from either of them, and that OK by me. Hope I helped, a contrasting color would be cool.

How do you think a black top would look on my Torch Red Vette ? It already has a 19/20 Ruff racing wheels powdercoated black. It also has a full blackout kit. Interior is mod red/black. It will either go with the theme very well, or look completely stupid !

If you did the roof section AND the 'roll hoop' in gloss black, the entire upper section would look like blacked out glass bubble on top of the lower body.....I have often thought about doing this to my Sebring Silver '98.

I've seen them blacked out like on a white Vette and that looks good along with the halo blacked out too
