You guys must have very sensitive ears. These things are not that loud. No worse than any muscle car. Around 1K rpms cruisin you can barely hear them. These things wont even set off car alarms. My 72 with a 454HO attached to Hooker sidepipes will set off the neighbors car alarm 3 houses down when I fire it up.

The volume from them could be heard from atleast 150 yards in my buddy car with his windows up!
I run a practical 800 watt stereo system that cannot drown out this exhaust anything over 4k....
Must guys love them... I loved them before the cam install.... With cats or no headers they would be great....
