drab looking rag top ?
hey guys i have a 2004 vert an the top is looking a little drab lately i was thinking maybe using some shoe dye(like the girls use on wedding shoes) to make it nice an black again anybody else ever do this or any other trick top make your top look nice and dark again ? i have used the haartz rag top cleaner an protectant but it just doesn't darken it up like i would like . any ideas what did you use and what were the results .thanks guys i don't want to screw my top up but want it to look great this spring. the forum rocks

I would try the car care section of the forum because they have alot of great ideas and knowhow. I spent hours there one night just learning how to properly wash and wax and I've been waxing cars for years but not the right way. There is probably some kind of dye that is made just for the top. Good Luck with it.
