The mirrors on the C5 are not very good. Just a quick tap and they hang loose and flop. I've had two C5's they both had the floppy mirror syndrome. I fixed them . . . not the right way, but it worked for me.
I took a tube of clear silicone adhesive, swiveled the mirror. Dumped some silicone adhesive in the base. Moved it back into the right position, wiped the excess sicone off. Taped it in place and let it sit for 24 hours, then removed the tape. Was just going to be a quick fix until I bought a new mirror, but just never got around to getting a new mirror.
It's been about three years and still works great. One of these days, I'll get a new mirror.
