I installed these on my Z and there's a 2 finger gap in the wheel well and it's the lowest it goes. The spring is tight with a little play. I want to to fit only 1 finger so another half inch would be great. I've heard about an extra spring for the LG GT2's it's yellow and allows you to go as low as you want. Any info on this please let me know. Thank you.

Man call them at the Co get there take on your question. I have a set on my car and they are great to talk with on the phone.... I am sure with there R&R they will give you some feed back....
you don't want to compromise your handling by going too low (even with coilovers) if your looking for the dropped look go with drop spindles, that way you don't have to preload the springs...your ride must suck right now?
EDIT: I must have not read your post carefully, you haven't preloaded the springs yet have you? Anyway I am aware of the 'helper springs' but I heard the best balance is going drop spindles and keeping the preload set from the factory

I installed Pfadt coilovers last week on my Coupe. My stock tires are 24.5" F 25.5" R. I wanted 1.5" clearance. My target height was 26" F /27" R. First, these shocks come from the factory with the pre-load set. I set my fronts so the shock body was fully seated (screwed all the way into) the lower mount. At that initial setting the fronts only got down to 26 5/8". I call Pfadt and was told I could lower the shock perch (changing the pre-load) slightly. (i.e. 2.5 - .5 ").
I decided not to lower the shock perch. My fear was when the shock was fully extended the coil would become loose.
