Default Woke her up

It's been almost 4 months since I covered her up for winter, but yesterday I needed a break from cabin fever that has been creeping in.
So with dry weather and highs in the upper 30's I uncovered her and took her for a afternoon ride. Started right up and ran great!

Started mine up yesterday and just sat in it listening to a CD and admiring it. Even though I am a real non-modder and want to keep my Vette very original, While in it yesterday, I think that I might lower it for looks.

I drove mine to Florida on vacation the last two weeks. Was a good trip but got caught in the storm that hit Ohio on Friday. The vette handled the winter conditions quite well and is now back in the garage for a couple more months.

Default Gentlemen, start your engines !

Yeah I started mine today, just sitting her with the engine running, I slip a 'Patsy Cline' CD into the player and it's as if the summer has come early. Love that ladies voice. Roy Orbison as a second listen.

Been waiting for weather break. Last time I was able to drive the vette was new yrs day. Broke record for the most snow in Feb in Illinois this yr. Suspose to hit 40's today & rain so the salt should get washed away. For those that start vettes but not drive them I've heard & read it's not good. You might want to check it out. Com'on Spring!

Charged up my battery yesterday after 3 months. Took her out today for a couple errands. Ran great, can't wait for spring to come in for good.

I am happy for my Vette bros and sisters. I don't know how you all go so long without driving your Vettes! I haven't gone more than a week or so all Winter.

Had mine in storage since early November. Maybe in the next week or so I'll be able to get mine out on the road again. Pouring down rain right now and supposed to rain for the beginning of this week.

The roads still have a lot of salt on them here. We need a couple days of rain to get that stuff cleaned off. I'm happy to say its raining here right now and its in the forecast for most of the day tomorrow also.

I think I am maybe 3 days away from getting my first drive since October !
