Do you have specific model #? Looks as though the “SEM-1562A 1.5 Amp Speed Charge Maintainer” gets mostly good reviews on Amazon.

I have one of Schumacher's larger chargers (used mainly for deep cycle marine) but it has served me well for many years. I use a CTEK on the Vette, a bit more cost but works great...

I had a Schumacher SE-1-12S and the first winter I used it my new battery died. I dumped it and got a Battery Tender Plus and haven't had any more problems.

Got a couple of these and they work great. I have one on on the generator 24/7 for a few years and the battery is fine. Leave one on the zo6 all winter since 2007 and all is well. One thing on the c5's- the computer is below the battery and the delco side terminal batteries have been known to leak....bad news for the computer!

I bought three tenders from Harbor Freight for something like $7 each. They work great.
