Default Audio Adapter by Freecom Wireless

I'm looking to install Sirius Radio in my 02 Vert. Has anyone here used one of these adapters. I've found them on Fleabay for $150.00

Seems a tad pricey. I just purchased a kit from Dennis at Double D Mods. It included both the wiring harness and the aux input module. You have the option of an iPod connector or one that connects to anything with a 3.5MM headphone jack. Cell phone, MP3 player, etc.

PM him @ c5 BearsFan. He's also a Supporting Vendor.

Does his kit functionally do the same thing? I want to install a Sirius radio in my C5 and I don't want to do the CD harness cutting deal. I looked at his website and it shows two different kits.

One reason this adapter is more expensive than the more well known GM10-AUX is that you can retain full use of an existing CD player. With the GM10-AUX you need to disconnect the player. This is a good find you've made with this PdAuX3W-CL2.

My kit came with both a 3.5MM connector and stereo RCA connectors.

I'm not sure what the Sirius radio is putting out, but if you've got a pair of RCA's (white and red), you're golden.

TNX: Great bit of info. This is the first I've heard of a system that lets you retain your CD changer if you have one while using another auxiliary device.
