Car has been in the modding stage since June 2010 and should be ready for the road in about three weeks. TPE Flared front and rear fenders, new carbon fiber hood, DD mods, dyno time and then enjoy for a few months before finishing the interior. When finished I will really enjoy recognizing all the help provided from the vendors and members on the forum that provided ideas and motivation. Joe Ferraro has been the artist painting this picture, his knowledge, incredible quality of work and friendship has made this project very special.

Reason: added comment.
Are you repainting the whole car? Gonna look sweet man.
Will be doing quite a bit and then clear coating and wet sanding to match the RK Ram Air Carbon fiber hood. My goal is to have it as perfect as possible. It has been up on the lift for the past eight months and is in desperate need of some TLC. Body shop said no need for a total repaint.
Appreciate the positive comment.
Dennis, enjoyed his quick return call and the email follow-up. He is sending me samples and it looks like I will be going with a combination of black carbon fiber and buckskin leather. I know that isn't the proper name but it is the leather they use in the Porsche. Will be spending some time checking out interiors and told him I will leave the final design up to him. Was really impressed with his ability to envision what I was trying to achieve. Have purchased one small item just to test and communication and delivery was dead on. Looks like a winner. Far cry from that other joker. Thanks!
PS - Fries will be going up .02 cents

It looks really killer without the hood, and the lights open!
The lights are incredible - also changed the gears, while I was at it,and for the first time I can see at night. I know its been forever for the final product but give them credit - the finished product will be better than anything GM even thinks of putting out.
The RK Ram Air Carbon Fiber Hood is fantastic. From the minute I saw it there was no other option. When you see the work that Jason did on the underside, all I can say is WOW! It has special meaning for me and all I can say is the air brushing is *****+. As a bonus his communication was outstanding. While we haven't met face to face this is one talented professional with a true value for customer satisfaction. If you watch the speed channel he will be doing the paint work on the challenge either week 4 or 5. Incredible artist and excellent communication??? Right On!

Can we get some more info. on whats lurking under the hood or the rear bumper for that matter
Rob
For now - at 10 lbs we are looking for close to 700 RWHP. I will ask Joe to do a detailed write-up once we are finished and can provide dyno numbers. For me the biggest challenge will be to learn how to properly handle the power. Fuel system etc. will handle well over 1000 HP. Being well into my sixties this reminds me of the cars and excitement I had on the Berlin Tpke. Most of you are way to young to completely understand but THAT WAS REALLY "In the Day"
Very nice! Did you paint or powder coat your intake or is that a cover?
Also, lucky dog to be testing those Sun Guns!
Hopefully I will see this up close at a local show in the near future.
Sun Guns are one of the best, most practical, mods I have completed. Sanded and painted the intake and will be doing the same to two other items. Looking to do a few shows but more up near the Ocala area. All work has been done at St. Pete Auto Aids in St. Petersburg, Florida. I can't say enough about Joe's knowledge and quality of work.
