Transmission and Converter
My trans is pretty much done, and i just spend enough money putting a brand new ls6 into it so im looking for the cheapest way out on this part of it.
I just want to get rid of this car pretty much, so what would be the lowest cost option for me to get a transmission and new converter for this thing.
I dont want used stuff, because even though im going to sell it i dont want to sell something that may break.
So whos got the best deals on a rebuilt trans that i can send my core back to, and i guess a converter. I dont care about increase in performance, as long as it works and is reliable.

Talk with Rodney at RPM Transmissions and get a Level IV, the price is right and pick up a decent converter too from them. www.rpmtransmissions.com
I wouldn't be suprised that after the new tranny goes in that you want to keep the Vette - you will be amazed at the performance difference with the new LS6 and new tranny.
I too went through your troubles but it has all paid off - I now have a very reliable 701 RWHP and love every minute of it too!
