[Z06] Concensus on best Air Intake??

Concensus on best Air Intake??
Looking down the mod road, what's the concensus on best bolt on air intake? Blackwing? Halltech? Vortex? Anything else?
I had a Halltech TRIC + Cobra bridge on my 99 C5 and it was very stout!! I did some custom stuff to it to make it even better :) Built a standoff to support the filter away from the lower air dam which enabled it to breath better around the back side of the filter, etc.

Forgot to add that I also did the TB bypass mod and MAF screen removal + new MAF nylon ends on my 99 C5. All seemed to help a bit.

I believe that it is the Halltech T1.. a pricey unit that claims to add about 20 HP.. people are reporting 10-17 RWHP..
ie Your 02 can go from a base of about 345-50 to 360+...
lets see... my base run is at 360 RWHP stock.. so I am hoping to get somewhere north or 370.. with the intake alone.. :D:D:D

The Blackwing is a non cold air kit and the Vortex is a cold air kit. There will be a little better gain, at speed, with the cold air kit. Both are about $225 from us and a great bang for the buck.
The install on th Blackwing is a snap. The Vortex will require more time.
