Various key fobs info
Here is some info. on the various key fobs for the C5 Corvettes, with approx. prices.
The 2000 key fob is the same and will work on the 1997 - 1999 cars it just doesn't have the "passive" switch on it, which makes it a less expensive option to the 10253839 fob, however it is the hardest to find.
2001 - 2004 fobs will not work in the 1997 - 2000 cars.

You can change out the receiver on the 97 - 00 cars to the newer 2001-04 style, but you will also have to change your tire pressure sensors (TPS) and your key fobs. The TPS on the 01 - 04's are much cheaper than the 97 - 00 TPS.
Please note that I do not have any of these fobs or TPS for sale, I just gathered up this info and now I'm sharing it.
