Its an 02 coupe with 107k miles the dealer wants 14,500. I looked up the kbb its worth 17,600. Is that a good price for it and because its an 02 do you think I will have a problem financing it I do have good credit. I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section this is my first post.
Doesn't sound bad. I'm in Charlotte, too. Let me know if I can help. I also have an 01 coupe with 68K miles for sale if that one doesn't work out for you.
The 17k is crazy, and the 14k is even a little high.
I can't imagine getting much in the way of financing on a 10 year old car with over 100k miles.
My personal advice would be if you can't pay for it then you shouldn't be buying it.
Good luck.

That advice works out real well, just ask all those people living in cardboard boxes how much longer they have to save to buy that $200,000 home.

I got my 98 w/41k mi. at City Chevy for $14.9k 2 months ago. Forget KBB they never have it right. Edmunds is closer to real world prices. Not a bad price but not a great one either. Your choice I would offer $13k and see what they say.
Credit Unions don't care how old a Vette is, they consider them all "Classics" as long as it books out more than you want to finance.
when i went to finance my 02 z06 purchase last summer i had a hard time finding any bank that would finance something older than 7 years. i also went to 2 credit unions and both would not even consider it because their limit was 5 years. there were a few banks however that approved the loan only because it was low miles (13400). i say good luck getting one that is now 9 years old with over 100k miles.

Buying a toy, and an old one at that, is just slightly different than buying a home or an investment.
I'll stick with my philosophy, you stay with yours.
