Default Mounting something to dash.

Thinking of slapping this on my dash. I have a lot of things I use when driving; camera, phone, GPS, radar detector and my windshield is getting reeeeeeeeediculous. Thought I would see what everyone's thoughts are. ;$

I put one of those on my 88 Vette dash....unfortunately when I tried to remove it, my dash cracked and I had to replace it.

I had my radar detector mounted with a shale covered velcro.....worked great and have had no problems. I took it off after a few years and I guess because it is garage kept there was no color difference.

I put one on my Nissan Murano, that windshield is too far away. Only thing that I don't like about it, it is so shiney that it acts as a mirror and reflections can be disturbing and distracting while driving.

I put a cell phone holder on my C5 dash, no problems. Be sure to clean the dash a couple of times with alcohol (especially if you used a plastic protector on your dash). You can use a piece of tape to gauge when it is finally clean enough.

I got one of these with my Garmin GPS. I stuck it to the side area of the dash. In the heat of the summer the adhesive on the back got soft and parted from the disk causing the GPS to fall off.
I got a new one from Garmin and the same thing happened.
I finally used Velcro on the dash and disk and its been fine ever since.

Thanks for the input...If I have issues with mine, I will do the same thing.
