First is in reference to the traction control system. I know there are sometimes issues with warning messages and such for the system however mine is not displaying any of these. When i take off in first or 2nd gear though, the back end is gone and it doesn't feel like the traction control is doing much of anything. Ive had the car a month or so and when I first purchased it, I could def tell when the traction control kicked in. Any suggestions?
2nd thing is I have a line on a V-ram for pretty cheap. Dude said it came off a 98. I'm pretty sure I read that there was as difference between the 97-00 and the 01-04 V-rams but im unclear on the details.
First off do you back out of the gas when you have the back end break loose? If so you could be doing it before the computer displays any messages and such. Traction Control is nice, but these cars can easy overpower it. Also my recommendation is do not just smash the gas as the TC works by using the breaks and you will wear then out faster by letting TC do all the work or try to atleast.
As for the V-ram questions I do not know as I do not own one.
Well idk man. I dont normally drive it that hard. It's like I can't hook up at all in 1st or 2nd and I dont feel traction control even trying to help. Any chance something is wrong with the system and it just isn't throwing a code?

Since.I'm not familiar with your driving, try driving moderately such as 30-40 speed zones, (residential areas, stop and go ) , normal stop and start at lights and such and if your still getting the traction control warnings, its possible that your ABS module may be on its way out. As far the VR is concerned if the car is a 98, its not necessarily that its been on that long maybe as recent as a coupleyears. To be sure, maybe you should.go.to the VR website to see if there has been any changes/upgrades.
I am not getting a problem code... that's why I'm confused. I guess I just need to go out and figure it out on the road. Anybody know if the traction light on the dash flashes at all when it is activated during driving?

When the traction control is activated, the light is on steady.
I'm talking about the car when trac is ON. I didn't have any issues before I installed the diablo tune. I've used DIablo's on serveral vehicles without this issue so I don't think it is the cause. My main complaint is that I can't hook up at all going from 1st to 2nd. I was experiencing some wheel chirp before but it would hook up quickly. Now there is no hooking up at all. Like I stated, no codes have been thrown yet. I may attempt to unplug and replug the the system and see if that down anything. Any other ideas would be great though.

Thanks guys.
I have the originals on my 2002 Z06 with 12,000 miles. They still have good tread but the rubber is hard. I spin those rears at the drop of a hat. I kind of like it.....
