Default New Head & Tail Lights

well i finally finished installing my new depo head & tail lights today and damn i think they look great. depo still has some work to do on the brackets though because it leaves to much of a gap between the lights & the body parts. but all in all i like them and think they look great.

btw BPG thanks for stopping over last night & giving me a hand.

only thing is now i get a static sound on my stereo when i apply the brakes or turn signals. anyone else have this problem with LED lights.

looks sweet, glad yall get them lined up... just goes to show there is nothing cold beer and a dremel tool cant fix

check your grounds... usually goofy static is a ground issue. if you dont get it figured out, i will swing by when youre free and we will look it over

I got mine fairly even still needs a little fine tuning but if you look in my thread I have some overhead shots of each side to show fitment when I did the initial fit. I put the bumper back on today and realized i'm gonna have to readjust a little bit to make it more even on that line though. heres the link to my thread with the pics...http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-z...ld-thread.html

yea i just looked at your post, the right side on mine has a good fit, but the gap on the left is still to wide if you as me (on mine that is). mine are fairly even as well, just for that much money those jokers should fit perfectly.... just my 2 cents. but yours looks great.

I was expecting a little better fit as well but I think its just going to take some time working the brackets to make them like the OEM covers sat in there. Did you bend you brackets any? I took two days trying to get them even in there with an oem like gap. Although still a little larger than I had hoped. The bumper is coming back off tomorrow for more adjustments though.

Edit: Wait so the left headlight has a larger gap on yours? My left side headlight is actually to tight on the outside of the car I have to bend the bracket more to even it out. I just realized that looking at my left headlight compared to the right headlight.

yea my right side is a really good fit, its the left that has the gap. i did not bend my brackets. i did however make the slots a little longer but i think in the wrong direction.....lol

jesus i dont even wanna think about taking that damn bumper back off.

I'm thinking I can adjust them enough through the little access covers on both sides under the bumper. I hope, cause if I have to take the bumper all the way off I'm gonna be haha
