My C5 Z06 is my daily driver. Where I live, it's been raining... and raining... and raining some more. I knew my trunk leaked (the weatherstripping is bad), but now my passenger window also leaks, and just this morning driving home from work, a little bit of water dripped from under the dash onto my leg.
No personal offense intended but most likely your udders are plugged. Yep I said udders. That's why the dash leaks onto your leg and most likely onto the carpet in the passenger footwell. Read this link for a solution to unplugging them:
Info in this link on fixing more than just leaks caused by plugged udders.
Haha, no offense taken!! Thanks for the link. When we replaced my windshield wiper motor last year, I thought my husband checked the udders... but that was a year ago and my memory sucks, so I'll have to check that out!! I'll read up on the link and take a look!!
Try coating your weather strips with dielectric grease. It will soften them and help them seal better. Let your husband check your udders more than once a year!
lol my C5 leaks like a sieve. I don't know how you guys deal with it.
First the wipers. I fixed that problem (and the udders) thanks to this forum. Now the DIC, which had been flickering, has gone out completely.
