I just installed the Phillips 9011 and 9012 on Sunday. It took 30 minutes including the modifications to the bulbs. If you have a dremel tool, small file and a small hand you will have no problems.
They are not HID's but are brighter than stock.

Yeah. The whole process took about 30 minutes for me as well... I used a wire cutter to clip the tabs right. The guys at Finemotoring.com actually marked on the tabs where to cut, even though I had the webpage up and ready for clipping. LOL Made my life that much easier. Going to test the lights in a few minutes.
In my ACA's I went with HID lows and Highs, No issues at all, I also have HID in my fogs and that made a big difference. But when talking non hid's I feel that the HIR bulbs are the way to go.
I have HID lows and fogs (4300 temp) and the silverstars in the highs. I was thinking about adding HID highs, however the lows and fogs really light up the road and I primarily use my highs only when I flash to pass. I can only imagine how your ACA HID lows and highs light up the road. The fogs still turn off automatically if you hit the highs correct?

Unless you do some sort of mod to change it .... the fogs turn off when the high's turn on.
There is some law I saw that Radioflyer mentioned in another post that having 6x forward facing lights is illegal. (lows/highs/fogs)
I have Silverstar's in my high beam ACA's and they are horrible. It felt like I turned off my forward facing lights completely when I turned on my high beams. I am putting in HID high beams in the next few months. I rarely use my high beams anyway but its nice to have if I need them. I have my low beams set up to stay ON when the high beams turn on. I will have no loss of light when I turn on my high beams.
