Has anyone ever removed BSM from just the fender and left it on the door? I thought about removing all together, but I have dings on the door pieces and not sure if I want to take chances parking without a little protection. However, I'm curious as to what it would look like with it removed from the fender coves.
I like em, they break up that giant flat panel and provide some protection to the doors.
We don't live in a world of absolutes. These are good. Those are bad. Blondes are better than brunettes.
To each his own. However in answer to the OPs question, I think removing only the inner cove fender piece would make it look like you lost your inner cove fender piece.
Yeah, I thought about marking the location and removing to see if I like it. Worst case is I either put it back on or remove the rest of the pieces. Was hoping someone had already done this. Also, I'm not sure if it will look like it is missing since the rear quarter doesn't have a piece of BSM.
Dont think I have any pics, but my last vette had the fender/cove piece missing on one side when I purchased it. I could not decide if I liked it that way or not. So I left it like that, thinking you can only see one side at a time. Very few people ever commented on it. I happen to like bsm's also, and I did not think it looked bad at all.
found one.
think i'm havin second thoughts... looks like something missing
eh, it's Ok.
I too like the moldings. I don't have them and have thought about getting some. They break up the flatness of the panel. But I probably won't.
I would suggest those who can only comment do a search to walk on by. It's rude! Besides, WTH hasn't been discussed here by now? Or we could just let the vendors fill up general with for sale items

"Teach a Man to Fish", once you LEARN how to search, you can generally find an answer faster than you can type the question!
