A/C panel light dim
All of my lights, radio and dash are controllable with the dimmer switch. The light in the A/C panel does not go very bright and is difficult to see during daylight hours. Is there a secret or a resistor that needs replaced.

There is a thread here somewhere that shows what to do. Basically you take apart the head unit and on one of the boards, there are some SM caps that need to be resoldered as the heat burns up the contacts.
