Its stupid to get all butthurt about. Who cares if some dude didn't return your wave. You old farts are supposed to be more mature than us young bucks. Flipping us off is not taking the higher road because we didn't wave. Who cares its not the end of the world.
The other day I was at a light- front of the line with tons oaf cars behind me. It turns green and I see a C5 coming towards me and I stick my arm out to wave... Nothing. Felt a bit odd since there were a ton of people behind me but whatever.
I did feel bad for just about missing a wave once at another intersection and I dont think it was seen since my windows were so dark but I was busy shifting.

Or you could look at it like, us old farts as you put it, are trying to teach you young know it alls, the corvette tradition. And that we're trying to welcome you and share with you the tradition and history of Hot Rodding and Corvettes so that you may also one day pass it on to your children and theirs.
But for some unknown reason so many of you wish to come in, with a know it all don't give a **** attitude about it all, and attempt to go your own way and bust traditions that were in place since before most of us were even born.
No of course it's not the end of the world, but don't come in here playing like you're part of the Corvette world and experience, while not adhering to common decency and respect.
If that's the game, you all should buy toyotas or stangs.
