Think about how much you'd have to pay the aftermarket for a TITANIUM exhaust system. You can always change it later if it's not the sound you want.

Please correct me if I am wrong but is the stock exhaust Ti plated or fullly Ti material tubing. I was told they are plated?

Ti exhaust is 100% ti Tubing. Even the mufflers are constructed from Ti

EDIT: The idea of constructing the exhaust from Ti was to reduce the weight. Plating stainless pipes would be pointless.

OEM mufflers are good to use with your headers. They flow very well and are light in weight. After market exhausts on a Z are more for what you like your exhaust to sound like.

I have AR headers, catless, xpipe and stock Ti with no bypass mod...my car sounds really clean. I'll shoot a gopro vid of it tomorrow and upload it. I'm NEVER gettin rid of my Ti...sounds so clean and more exotic than a typical American V8.
