when you open your hood, go to the front of the car and look where the front of hood would meet the front bumper. The bumper should have a series of fasteners (6) if i remember.
On your car, the outermost fasteners (nearest the headlights) Are they plastic push pin style or an bolt?
my 02 has black push pins. trying to find something chrome that will fit there. it would match all the screws that go up both edges of fenders and the screws in back of headlights. just nice accents for around 30 bucks or so
It depends on the year. 97 - 99 and some early 2000 models have bolts. After that they went to the push pins.
I see.
The SLCv2 kit uses the outermost fastener to secure the shroud/lens assembly. If the car had an existing bolt in that area, it could be used, but a push-pin is not a secure enough connection in my mind.
I will be including a stainless bolt/u-nut combo in ALL the kits to err on the side of the unknown.
