Driver's Seat Problem
Thanks again everyone for there help with my CD Player and Manual, as you know I just purchased this 1997 in Virginia last Saturday and I live in Maryland. I took it to be inspected today and it failed for one thing, the driver's seat would not lock in place when you adjust seat. It has a little movement in it and the garage told me I may have to have the tracks replaced and could cost up to $800 depending on the controls on the seat. any suggestions on a fix without spending alot of money. Virginia dealer said they would be willing to pay half because it was sold as is and Virginia inspection laws are not as strict as Maryland laws.

My drivers seat track was broken when I got the car, and I got a drivers side track from vettenuts (a vendor on here) for a good price and just swapped out the broken piece so I didn't have to switch all the controls, etc. It works perfectly now!
So, if you do end up having to replace the seat track, I suggest you check out vettenuts, as they might have something used you can pick up way cheaper than at the dealer!
